Dan Montgomery, author and host of this blog, is President of Blue Opal Strategies LLC, a management consulting and coaching firm located just outside Boulder, Colorado. Boulder is a unique place to contemplate sustainability – 35 minutes from the 5th busiest airport in the US, on the edge of the major metropolis in the Rocky Mountain region, yet backing up to miles of open space, huge skies, and wilderness. We are home to a very entrepreneurial business culture, particularly in the areas of natural products and clean energy technology, as well as a mecca for spiritual seekers and outdoor sports enthusiasts.
Dan has lived in California, Washington state, Colorado, Nebraska, Massachusetts, Nova Scotia (Canada), Arizona, couldn’t stay away, and moved back to Colorado.
